Children’s early experiences shape their whole life, and we want to build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. We offer Montessori schooling grounded in the observations, methods and philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. Classrooms in our nursery offer your child the opportunity to explore and to follow everyone’s own interest. All our classrooms are mix-aged, children of children of all ages are grouped together so that the younger can learn from their older classmates, and the older children can deepen their skills and learn through teaching. Our approach is built on a deep respect for the individuality of each child and a strong belief in their potential.

I can recommend the nursery school with all ten. We got a recommendation from a friend. My son started when he was 18 months old. I was a little worried at first, as my son is allergic and atopic. The neighborhood talked me out of the nursery saying it was too early, but with another baby coming, I wanted some variety in my older son's day. As soon as my son started the teachers from Levandulky and the director took my fear away. My son was well taken care of. The tutors are amazing, kind, caring and look after the children with love. If there was a need the teachers texted or called right away. They taught my son a lot of new things and also more independence. They also took an interest in his diet and I was very pleased when they arranged with us to vary the snacks due to allergies. My son looked forward to the nursery every day and loved it. I also really appreciated that at pick up you get feedback on how the children have been all day and once a week you see pictures of what the children have been up to during the week. Really great attitude.

Kája started attending nursery five days after her first birthday. People were saying it´s too early for her and discouraged me from it. Not to mention other mothers, who rather not commented on this. After all I am very glad that no one talked me out of doing this. I had a great feeling when we first visited the nursery. I really liked the environment, teachers and the overall atmosphere in this nursery was great. From the start Kája has been very enthusiastic. She never cried while entering the class, she is always very happy there. On the contrary, she is sad when we go home. Since she started talking, she always mentions Míša, and even on the weekend she has her backpack ready for nursery. Thanks to Montessori education in this nursery Kája became very quickly independent at the age of two, she is also very skilled and curious. At home she is my sidekick who helps with everything. Thank you very much for everything you do Meduňky. We are looking forward to our last year spent together.

Our daughter was less than two years old when she started attending the nursery. Initially she was attending only morning programme in nursery for two days in a week, but one day she started crying because she didn´t want to go home from nursery. That was an impulse for us to extend her attendance in nursery because we saw how happy she was there. Over a span of few months, she made a big progress, she started new habits, and she became more independent. I like that nursery offers my daughter plenty of activities that we don´t do at home that often and that she is in a collective of other kids. However, the core of this nursery is made by teachers, they are patient and kind. With respect and calm they guide and teach children. No one ever pressured us to anything, they never pressured our daughter to stop wearing diapers or dummy...Teachers are very approachable, nothing was ever too much trouble, they are flexible in their approach to children. It is possible to agree upon everything with them. Saying goodbye to this nursery will be very hard for us. I only wish that in next kindergarten are as friendly and accommodating teachers as in here.

As a parent I can strongly recommend this nursery. Our daughter has been attending Lavender class since September. We particularly appreciate the individual and kind approach of all teachers. Their kind approach helped my daughter especially during her first days in class. It is obvious that teachers do their work with love and joy. My daughter always looks forward to seeing them.

We have great experience with this nursery since year 2018. Both of our kids were located in Lemon balm class and the care they received there was absolutely perfect. All teachers located in class were always very professional and loving, we had absolute trust in them. Thanks to montessori education my kids became very quickly independent and empathetic to others. But most importantly, our kids always leave school with smile on their faces and with enthusiasm after a great meaningful day spent in nursery. About this nursery we really like how kids naturally follow set rules and that they go on regular walks outside in almost any weather. When the weather is really bad kids have alternative programme inside the building, where they can enjoy themselves and have fun. We are always pleasantly surprised how quickly our kids learnt new skills and how quickly they mastered them. Our kids attended nursery since they were one year old, and we are really glad they strated this early. This made transition to standard kindergarden very smooth, it was without crying and kids quickly adapted to new environment and new kids. We wish to all futura parents that investment in montessori education is as successful and useful as for us and our kids. Kids look forward to going to nursery and every day spent there is a great experience for them. Thank you.

We have known nursery Prvni krok since the year 2020 and we have the best experience with them, that is why we also entrusted them with our second child. We really like the beautifully prepared environment for kids and we highly appreciate the individual and kind approach of teachers. We also appreciate the communication with the nursery, whether it is daily news about our kid or weekly news. Every day during the drop-off and pick- up we also see how big emphasis is placed on the safety of all children, and for that we are really grateful
